How I improved/developed upon my 21st Century Skill: I improved, and or developed upon my 21st century skill by thinking critically about the angles, lines, and such, due to having to know what the different angles and lines are for example.
What was most difficult about completing this task: What was most difficult when completing the task was making sure I was drawing out the angle that seemed to fit better then a line for example, and making sure it was neatly drawn without a mistake. How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different?: I could improve my work by possibly setting a theme to go based off of because it would've helped me be more creative instead of just using different colors for every letter or so. I would instead draw side items or background to make the project/assignment more creative and interesting. If I could start over the project/assignment, what I would do differently would be to look over what each type of line, ray, ect... would've looked like. In letter form that is, in some sort of rough draft, so that it would be simpler to draw out my final product of the mini project with confidence. |
Description of the Project: The Logic Design Project was an assignment we had last quarter. In class we had been learning about angles, lines, rays, and bisectors. After learning about these we were to make a mini poster on a regular sized piece of paper. On the mini poster it was to include my name or nickname spelt out using the angles, lines, rays, and bisectors that had been learned in class. The assignment/project was to have some form of creativity as well.
21st Century Skill: The 21st century skill I believe goes with this assignment is Thinking and Problem Solving. I believe that thinking and problem solving best fits this assignment/project because during it you had to use thinking and problem solving to overcome each problem encountered. For example, making sure that the angles I used to spell out a letter in my name corresponded with the instructions and made sense. What I'm Most Proud of: What I'm most proud of from this project/assignment was managing my time between my other classes to get this assignment/project done on time and meeting the requirements. How does this relate to what you have learned in the past?: This project/assignment relates to what I have learned in the past by relating to what I had learned previously about different angles, lines, rays, and bisectors in the previous week or so leading up to the project.
How can you apply this to future learning?: I can apply this project/assignment to future learning by going back and reviewing what I need to know about the angles, lines, rays, and bisectors for future math classes, since each year the math builds up upon what you had learned the year before. |
